Better than ever was exactly what the recent Activate Womens Away weekend was. I would like to say a huge thank you to the dream team who worked so hard making it so special. The minute we arrived it was such a lovely atmosphere.
The New Venue was a lovely relaxing hotel with amazing facilities which included free use of swimming pool,sauna,steam room,gym ,with the option, at an additional cost, to experience a huge choice of Spa Treatments. The Food was equally impressive with a special Gala Dinner on the Saturday night. This dinner then was followed by entertainment from Abbey Guinness and then, for those late night birds, a showing of a film with popcorn. Sadly I did not experience the late night as retired early to bed.
Obviously the weekend was more than just food rest and relaxation there was a wonderful spiritual side where we were fed from some amazing speakers and blessed by amazing worship. I personally was inspired by Michelles first talk, Liz Gardener’s seminar and Sheila Bridges closing talk. I left feeling really inspired to try to be the Woman God has created me to be.
