Our aim is to offer stimulating articles, fun ideas and challenging topics for discussion. We need you to join in and help us by posting articles, joining in forum discussions, or simply telling others about useful resources you've discovered. So read on, log on, donate, or sign up for our training day and weekend away. We look forward to welcoming you...

Twenty Four by Krish Kandiah
I have recently been reading the book by Krish Kandiah, “Twenty-Four” and have found it extremely challenging!(Writes Fiona Castle)
As many will know, Krish was the keynote speaker for our recent Activate weekend in Coventry, and was very well received. A couple of his books were on sale there and I picked this one up because I felt that his attitude to his faith really resonated with that of Activate, in terms of evangelism.
This book talks about how we can make the most of every moment; to make every hour of every day an opportunity to be Christians, both in attitude and action.
Delia's 'Classic Christmas Special' Repeated
I managed to catch the last ten minutes of Delia Smith creating her traditional Christmas delights, making me feel inspired for the festive season.
For those who missed the program, a repeat showing will be on Sunday 13 December on BBC2 at 7.00 p.m.

December Devotional - The Three Trees
I heard this story recently which beautifully explains how God has a special plan for our lives. Through the story, three trees have dreams of what they want to become. Years pass and eventually woodcutters come to their mountain. Each tree finds itself in a place they never desired to be, yet in the end - "God's love changes everything."
God has a wonderful plan for our lives and this message reaches out to all ages. Jeremiah 29: 11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Beat the Clock
Without the ability to honour our selves we will fall at the first hurdle when it comes to effective self management. It boils down to character and proactive growth. In particular –discipline.
No one like this word, especially self - discipline. Apparently the word derives from disciple meaning the follower of a leader, teacher or philosophy. So in order to be an effective manager of self you need to be a disciple of your own philosophy or beliefs and values. Since you have already decided what your own philosophy, values and beliefs are, you can now live a life that follows through.
Jesus may have visited UK
UK msn.news has reported today that a new film suggests Jesus may have come to Britain, as described in the hymn Jerusalem, its director said.
The documentary, And Did Those Feet, explores the story behind the legend which survives in the hymn, for which William Blake wrote the words.
The legend claims Jesus visited several places in the West Country, such as the Roseland peninsula and Glastonbury, with his uncle, Joseph of Arimathaea.
In the film, Scottish researcher Dr Gordon Strachan said it is plausible Jesus may have visited Britain to further his learning.

"Beautiful" Weekend Away Reflection Notes
HE IS BEAUTIFUL
Psalm 27 says:
The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then will I be confident.
4 One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.
The Labyrinth 2009 - A walk with Jesus
Created by Julie, Adrienne and the Forest Row team.
Picture a meadow in your mind.
As you walk through the field of wild flowers feel them gently brush against your hands, legs and feet.
Ahead is a gate – open it and step through.
Stand still here and be silent. Habakkuk 2:20
Breathe in the scene in your mind with all your senses. John 20:22
Feel the earth beneath your feet.
Listen to the sounds around you, near or far.
Can you hear the birds singing?
Or the sound of a rain shower?
