Women Actively Sharing God's Love
Welcome to the Activate-Your-Life website. We take a unique approach by encouraging all christian women to be active, knowing that you can be effective just by being yourself.
With 4 decades of experience behind us and an exciting future ahead, we'd like to invite you to join our community of 'girls getting out there' sharing God's love in natural, meaningful ways.
Our aim is to offer stimulating articles, fun ideas and challenging topics for discussion. We need you to join in and help us by posting articles, joining in forum discussions, or simply telling others about useful resources you've discovered. So read on, log on, donate, or sign up for our training day and weekend away. We look forward to welcoming you...

May Devotional - Indispensable Love
1 Corinthians 13 is rooted in the supremacy of God's love. Written by Paul of Tarsus, he talks of having faith that can move mountains and that without love in our lives we are just an empty noise.
On your knees
It's a well known fact that most of the battles we are ever likely to face are won on our knees - but obviously a prayer can be said much more subtly in any location. And I'm finding out more and more how open people are to prayer and what a powerful effect it has on the one being prayed for.
Claims of Noah's Ark found on Mount Ararat
Breaking news reports claim Noah's Ark has been found by a group of evangelical researchers thousands of feet up in its Biblical resting place on Mount Ararat in Turkey.
Scientists report that the carbon dating conducted on the wood and stone from the site reveals their age as 4,800 years old. The exact location of the find has not been disclosed and further tests will be carried out. A researcher claimed they were ,'99.9% sure' the remains were of the original Ark.
'God is in charge'
If like me you were not affected by the volcanic ash cloud I guess we can count ourselves fortunate. However, thousands of travellers have been left stranded around the world and some of them are mission workers. Those who were travelling within Europe could find alternative ground transport to reach their destination but many could not fly into Europe and their plans were unavoidably affected.
How to spice up your post!
Hi all! This is Ant of Creative Stream here who is crowned with the exciting title of "webmaster". I hope you find this small tutorial useful.

Held
"Who told us we'd be rescued
What has changed and
Why should we be saved from nightmares
We're asking why this happens to us
Who have died to live, it's unfair"
This is what it means to be held
How it feels, when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved and to know
That the promise was when everything fell
We'd be held" (Natalie Grant)
This song keeps appearing in my life over the last couple of years and I guess it addresses one of the greatest challenges to our faith - where is God when everything falls apart?
Election Fever - get involved?
Last night saw the first televised British election debate. Today the media is filled with reactions, analysis and opinion polls. It certainly made for interesting viewing. At Activate we encourage you to pray for the election, make sure you are registered to vote,(the deadline is the 20th of April) and on May 6th -vote!
There is another way you might consider getting involved and making your voice heard now as a Christian -The Wesminster Declaration.
An interdenominational group encourages people to sign up to a statement of belief, the details are copied from their website for you here -
The boy and the tree - an inspiring Youtube clip
Have you ever thought that one individual cannot acheive anything? If you have ever felt powerless then try watching this clip from India - I was moved to tears. Malcolm Duncan showed this clip at Spring Harvest, perhaps it will motivate you or maybe you could share it with someone else. If we can work together than we can acheive great things - and I would add that if we work together with God, then nothing is impossible!
