Four Pillars Hotel, Cirencester

We are delighted to announce a new venue for our next weekend away. We have secured a booking in a contemporary four star hotel on the Cotswolds lakes, with a fabulous spa, excellent catering and lovely bedrooms – many of which look out onto the surrounding lakes. Water sports can be booked adjacent but we will have a packed programme with our special guest Michele Guinness. This time we offer one or two night stay options – arrive on Saturday at 9.30am for coffee ready for the conference to begin at 10am. A full programme of speakers, workshops, seminars and worship will follow, including lunch and a gala dinner, then another full day on Sunday, finishing at 5pm. For a twin bedded room this price will be £170 per person. If you want to add in an extra night on the Friday, add on £60. Internet booking will open soon.

Thankyou to the dream team for a truly amazing, inspiring time. Initially I was invited to come and speak on the saturday, then I saw the Itinery and said 'I want to come for the whole thing!' I had no idea however that was going to come away having gained so much from the whole experience. I loved it all, yes even the goody bag!
Thankyou for allowing me the opportunity to speak about CAP, my passion in life. I've had some incredibly encouraging feedback. Thankyou for introducing me to this movement of women who are determined to be a force for good in our communities. I look forward to getting to know you better through this online community and bring on the next time we manage to get together in real life!

Well my second time at Activate has come to an end. I am exhausted. Why? What did I do? I relaxed, pure and simple. I relaxed at the chocolate fountain, I relaxed in my own room (with no interruptions from children), I relaxed with friends old and new, I relaxed over dinner as i didn't have to plan or cook it (ok so the mushroom dish on Friday was way too spicy to eat!)I relaxed in the workshops and seminars learning new ways of thinking and I also learnt much - how I can support Christians Against Poverty, how to make my marriage better and stronger and how to have a better sex life!!! I had loads of fun at Mammia Mia sing along film and all the while I relaxed in the presence of our Lord. What more could I want. Dates are in my diary for the next 2 years! Thank you Activate team for your planning of this event!

Had a great weekend (even if it was Chicken in pernod sauce on the Friday night for the 5th year running...)! Thanks to all the Activate team for organising everything so well and making us feel so welcome and loved.

We kept ourselves going on another gruelling journey home with singing all the gospel songs we'd learned over the weekend.

Really looking forward to next year's new-look conferences. Thanks again everyone xx

THANK YOU: For all your time & effort in planning and delivering a splendid weekend. The Hotel might not be up to much but the atmosphere and program were inspirational.

I was chuffed with my WELCOME BAG. I noticed it hadn't been sealed, so that I can reuse it to wrap a Christmas gift & finding out it has a bow was a great bonus. Very impressed :)

I came to the weekend very worn out & now feel rested and back on the journey of life more conscious of my destination and mission.

I also take great strength from being reminded that He wants a relationship with me and to clothe me in Royal Robes everyday. Weather that day is a mountain top day or a valley day. A day when I am overwelmed by joy and surounded by lovely people and good things or a day when I don't even want to get out of bed, feel in despair and circumstances around me are crumbling.

God bless you all.
